From Psalm 136:1-3,26 we are to give thanks because He is good and His mercy endures forever! Read these verses to observe the titles the psalmist used to describe the LORD.
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
Oh, give thanks to the God of gods!
For His mercy endures forever.
Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords!

Stop whatever you are doing right now (if possible) and take a moment to give thanks to the LORD for His goodness and His enduring mercies!
